I accept that the literature on p53 as a prognostic marker is still unsettled. BCG would be dangerous with her and her steroid would dampen any immune response anyway, so that is out. Her SLE is in remission with steroid alone currently. She did not really receive a large cummulative dose of cyclophosphamide. She is the second SLE bladder I had, The first one was in her late 40's and underwent a cystectomy for invasive disease. Despite 2 positive nodes, she is still disease free 2 years out! What would be your threshold to remove her bladder?
