He must have had a borderline retrograde circulation of his corpus spongiosum which had a delayed infection. If you are convinced that it is all slough then you have no choice by to deslough and cover the corpora with penile skin and do a different repair at the next stage with whatever is available. If you are not convinced of the slough you may still sit it out with a spc if there is no sepsis. T-W taught me how to park skin for a second stage repair and it is a good trick, if there is sufficient penile skin, otherwise it will be a mid-scrotal skin tube or a buccal mucosa free tubular graft the next time round. Best of luck - it is both interesting and challenging. I have never had such a complication nor seen one before, but there is always the first time, and it appears dreadful!
