Is this area accessable to performing stage 1 in a two stage procedure? Is there massive soft tissue inflammatory response? Is there an anearobic infection?
I'mn not performing this kind of surgery since ten years, but my teacher way back when, was Stig Colleen in Lund, who actually brought the primary repair procedure to Sweden during that time (no one believed in it at that time). In some cases, especially with infection/necrosis the two stage might be worth considering?
