I managed him as you suggested for 1 week but decided to look in with flexible cystoscope after the urethrogram revealed a leak from the bulbar urethra, a good 4-5 cm from the anastomosis. To my horror, 8 cm of his bulbar urethra distal to the anastomosis had completely necrosed off. Same questions: what is going on? What should I do?
