What is this patient's ethnic group? Does the USS show any capsular invasion? What do you mean by nodular - is it T1 nodules or T2 or T3 nodules?

Chit Sin's response is classic urology. We send to our radiotherapy colleages, patients who we think are unlikely candidates for curative surgery. Then when the results of XRT is considered, we think the cure rates occur in those overstaged patients!!

I will not rule out RRP if there is no capsular invasion or if this is not an obvious T2/3 on DRE. Based on our limited experience, the window of opportunity for cure in CaP locally, is very small. This patient, I feel belongs to this category even though he may be at the window-frame!
