It was a Robson II.
Can we confidently take a lesion of this size after 18 month as likely renal bed recurrence. The lesion is uncomfortably close to the aorta for a Trucut biopsy. Yet I can't think of another alternative other then exploration. We struck a mutual decision to rescan in 3 month. I hope I won't regret this decision but feel that we would probably end up re-exploring him. which approach would you use? He had his nephrectomy through an anterior approach with a left subcostal incision.
