I agree with all the differential diagnoses. I use a loopogram to exclude mechanical obstruction. Often, it also tells you where the obstruction is. Functional obstruction can result from a long loop and this can be difficult to diagnose. When I was in Liverpool, we used to to conduitometrogram +/- Whitaker's. Generally, functional obstruction is suspected if the conduit drains by peristalsis. Of course excessive length, even low pressure, can also predispose to infection. I suspect the real damage in her was caused by chronic pyelonephritis as she had had many episode of fever.
I am satisfied that there is no mechanical obstruction. How would a loopogram help?
