I have said enough on this matter, so this is my concluding remark. I started my
urological career very much interested in ambiguous genitalia and gender reassignment
partly because of it interesting pathophysiology, multidisciplinary problems and above-all
the opportunity to do reconstructive work. I have over the years been turn off by several
things - the patients and the outcome, and largely the behaviour and attitude of the
professionals involved in gender reassignment surgery. Professionally it has become
distasteful in the majority of cases of gender reassignment in adults.
By the way, did he marry another achondroplasic?
