I want to state that nature had this guy assigned as a girl, but society, being mislead
by medical negligence had reassigned her as a boy forcing him to adopt a male behaviour -
which is a learnt behaviour. I feel 'he' should be 'assigned' correctly now that we know
better, (better late than never) and nor physically reassigned surgically this time. In
other words what you and her gynaecologist and psychiatrists are actually doing is gender
reassignment.
I would like to know if 'his' girlfriend is aware of all this peddling and what the future
portends. No one can look into the crystal ball of time and predict but here is a
situation which whatever the outcome, we have doctors have contributed very significantly
to it. An individual's right to gender reassignment(still not legally written into our
constitution, as far as I know), against the forces of creation, does NOT permit him or
her to impose it on someone else.
On a more urological note - What is the quality of his erection and what are his
dimensions? Was there much chordee? Has he managed normal penetrative intercourse?
Please let me know of any literature reference which talks about the results of gender
reassignment in CAH. I sympathise with you on the note that you received "him"
late, but I would disagree quite strongly in participating with the psychiatrist opinion
on this already once-wronged individual. 2 wrongs cannot and will never make one right.
