How did you treat his hypercalcaemia and how long do you propose to continue this
treatment?
If you think his hypercalcaemia is related to his Ca whether due to a paraneoplastic
syndrome or diffuse boney involvement, you have to carry on to assume that there is
residual disease. The prognosis is generally very poor. The last one I had with such
advanced disease was many years ago, and the oncologist gave him bleomycin plus
cisplatinum. There was some initial response. Suggest you send him to someone called an
oncologist!!
