The presence of testicular vessel in the abscence of testicular tissue is popularly
explained as caused by intrauterine torsion (vanishing testis syndrome) but I do not
really understand why these vessels should remain patent when there is no tissue to
perfuse and therefore run off to maintain patency. What about these severely displastic
multicystic kidneys that undergo involution. I wonder what happen to the vessels.
