In the light of recent evidence (both clinical and experimental), I think we will have to
look at combined DXT/hormone Rx more carefully. Published data on this mode of Rx had been
on locally advanced disease or locoregional disease. The difference in outcome of the
French study was impressive and control of the study beyond scientific criticism (or is
it?). Based on the evidence, My current strategy would be to offer this form of treatment
to T3 Nx or N1/2 patients. or even T2 patients who had refused radical prostatectomy or is
unsuitble. Anyone concur?
